Friday drinks: A dirty cocktail

It’s Friday. After work drinks time. Woo hoo. Here’s a splendid cocktail for lovers of gin

When it comes to cocktails, we listen to the experts. This Dirty Donga gin cocktail was created by Flowstone Gin’s founder, Glyn French, and gives a small insight to her creativity, and love for the bushveld (Flowstone Bushwillow Gin has loads of indigenous botanicals).

Dirty Donga

You’ll need: Adouble tot Flowstone Bushwillow Gin; Dry Vermouth; salty brine from a jar of olives; 2 Olives; Truffle oil; Ice.

To make: In a glass filled with ice combine Flowstone Bushwillow Gin, a small splash each of dry vermouth and salty brine from a jar of olives. Stir vigorously until well chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with 2 olives on a skewer. Lightly spritz with truffle oil. Cheers.
