First place for Raymond at XFE Body-building competition

Raymond Ntaopane (51), a bodybuilder from Ratanda, won first place at the XFE fitness and bodybuilding competition held on November 28.

He is a member of the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness South Africa and competed in the u-90 weight category and over 50 masters open.

Ntaopane is a qualified aerobics instructor, personal trainer and dedicated athlete who competed in cycling races and ran several marathons in the past with the likes of Shadrack Wolve, Zola Budd and Elana Meyer.

Ntaopane started with bodybuilding in 1993, during which he won his first trophy.

He believes his healthy lifestyle, perseverance and hard work is the recipe to his success.

Ntaopane is training for the next competition to take place in Krugersdorp on December 12.
