Hit and run suspect at large – Ratanda Police need your help
A four-year-old child sustained serious injuries during a hit and run incident which occurred on May 12 at around 10:00 in Blackwood Street, Extension 23 Ratanda.
The suspect is known to some residents in the area and is an African male (estimated to be in his late 20s).
On the same day at around 11:00, angered members of the community took to a house in Gxowa Street, Extension 23, where they thought the suspect was residing and set it on fire. A case of arson was later opened.
