Wife, sister- and mother-in-law among the accused.

Four of the seven suspects in the murder case of Jabulani Nkosi (well-known Balfour funeral parlour owner) have indicated to the Balfour Magistrate’s Court that they will not be applying for bail.

His wife Busi Mitta Nkosi (41), her sister Zanele Malindisi (29), their mother Maria Naniwe Nkabinde (64) and Muntu Mashinini (47) will not be applying for bail on February 20.

Jabulani was shot three times at his home in Joubert Street on January 19 after he was released from hospital where he received treatment for a first attempt on his life.

The rest of the accused – Sipho Dube (44), Thokozani Radebe (29) and a 17-year-old – will appear in court on February 20 for a formal bail application.
