Hawks arrest three for alleged fuel theft

They will appear in Heidelberg Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (February 13) on a formal bail application.

Ntokozo Cyril Ndlovu (41), Mzwandile Ezra Mnisi (38) and Mandla Michael Zwane (35) will remain in police custody as ordered by Heidelberg Magistrate’s Court yesterday, on charges of alleged theft.

According to Captain Thivhulawi Tshilate (spokesman) of Heidelberg SAPS, the Hawks’ team together with Crime Intelligence and Fidelity Security Agency reacted on information received and caught four suspects red-handed on February 7 at a Transnet fuel pipeline in the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve.

They arrested three of the suspects, while another managed to escape.

Tomorrow, the accused will appear again in court for formal bail application.
