The team’s first match of the year will be played on January 15 against Ace Auto Ayoba FC in Kwa-Thema.

“We are very positive for the season,” said coach Ignatius Maphike.

“We are seventh on the SAB League log table with the games we have already played.

“This leaves us only nine points behind the Joburg City team in first place.”
Maphike explained they have four games left for the first round of the league, followed by 11 games during the second round.

“The team is ready, although the Christmas break did take away that sting,” he said.

“But we are working hard and hope that none of our players got injured during the holidays.”
