NIGEL – Peace Brothers FC played against Boksburg Corner House FC on March 20 in the first match of the Boksburg league.
By half-time, the score was 2-1 for the Nigel team. Leading goal-scorer Themba Mahlangu was also voted man of the match.
In the second half, players Boy Pisa Mkwanazi, Sipho Mbatha and Welcome Nhleko added to the score.
The match ended with a final score of 6-1 in favour of Peace Brothers FC.
Coach Biamba Sibeko congratulated the team for their performance in the first match.
“The team is still young, with this being their first year in the league, and they are still top of the log.
“I look forward to seeing what they can do,” said Seja Evans Mahladisa.
