Man drowns after crossing submerged bridge
Jordan seemed to attempt to cross the Wolvefontein bridge.
On April 27, a 56-year-old man drowned after being swept up the river when attempting to cross the submerged Wolvefontein bridge.
It is suspected that Daniel Jordan left a lodge when he was on his way home at around 03:30 and tried to cross the small bridge.

His concerned family went to look for him when he didn’t arrive home. They found his Toyota Land Cruiser in the river near the bridge and after searching for him, could only find his Jordan shoes.
A diving team from Nelspruit found Jordan’s body at around 10:00 on the next day.
