Drug awareness campaign held in Heidelberg

A drug awareness campaign was conducted at the Heidelberg Taxi Rank on July 20.

Social crime prevention together with Alpha Trauma, Lesedi Local Municipality, Lesedi Health Department, SANCA and DSD attended the outreach programmes hosted by Harvest Outreach ‘ke Moja’ I’m fine without drugs.

The purpose of the campaign is to share information about services offered by the stakeholders in the Heidelberg area who are available to help anyone who has fallen into the drug trap and wants help.

Pamphlets about drugs, narcotics, gender-based violence, human trafficking, social workers and leading a healthy lifestyle were distributed.
