Ratanda has a fashion designer in line for a prized award.
Mosotho Mokoena (29) has been nominated as the best creative fashion designer.
He is one of the finalists in the best creative designer category, run by Mia Creative Arts, Writing and Literary Awards.
Mokoena is a motivational poet, actor, comedian and fashion designer.
He has always loved fashion and in 2013 he decided that this is the career path he wants to follow.
His fashion is authentic African prints and flashy outfits.
Besides Mokoena’s fashion world, he also helps communities where they need it.
He does food donations from time to time and helps the homeless when he can.
Mokoena said, “I see every day how people suffer. In my way, I want to help out and make a difference in some people’s lives.”
There is a voting line for the awards. Mosotho Mokoena’s dedicated number is CWLA 10 on 44485 and the voting stops at midnight on October 25.
The grand finale will be on October 29 at the Apollo Hotel in Randburg.
