Devon SAPS pays visit to schools

Career guidance given

Devon SAPS paid a visit to two schools and learners were encouraged to dress up for the day.

Other departments and stakeholders who also participated in the outing were sector members and the departments of community safety, education, health, social development, and correctional services. Also in attendance were the Gauteng Emergency Services.

Sithembiso Primary School was visited on September 14 and Nomnekane Primary School two days later.
One of the focus points was to educate the learners on career choices. The learners were also encouraged to take their studies seriously.

It was stressed that soon they will be going to secondary school and if there is already a habit to do homework and learn, then it will bode well for their school work and exam results.

Learners were encouraged to take their studies seriously.
