Ekurhuleni libraries observe Fine Free Week

The City of Ekurhuleni encourages library users to take advantage of Fine Free Week.

The Ekurhuleni libraries are celebrating Fine Free Week, which started on March 27 and ends on April 1.

The return of any overdue materials is encouraged during this time because there won’t be any additional fees.

Patrons who may have missed the return date of a book or library item can return it to the nearest library.

People wanting to keep books for longer should go in person to a library and have them reissued for record-keeping purposes.

Users can also call their local library to extend the lending period, provided the return date has not passed.

Alternatively, you can send an email with the membership card number clearly stated in it to info.libraries@ekurhuleni.gov.za.
