Report fraudulent job postings – CoE

The City Of Ekurhuleni (CoE) warned community members and job seekers of employment scams making use of the city’s name, titles and positions.

It stated via social media that a recent position advertised as an admin clerk in Kempton Park for the city was a scam.

The city urged community members to protect themselves from scammers.

It reminded community members that the city does not charge for employment nor are any fees payable by the prospective employee.

Furthermore, CoE encouraged job seekers and social media users to report suspicious job advertisements.

It appealed to the community for assistance in the prevention of these crimes.
