Devon SAPS reaches out to the eldery

DEVON – Devon SAPS held an outreach to the elderly on January 3 at Impumelelo Community Hall.

SAPS and various role players visited the elderly to share various tips and advice about safety in their homes.

They requested the community to report crimes at all times. It also includes incidents where the elderly are being abused or mistreated.

The senior citizens were also advised about social workers stationed at the police station, who would assist them if they felt that they were abused.

Devon SAPS wants the community to know that they are loved and that the SAPS door is always open to them.
