The Devon SAPS, Leslie SAPS, Lesedi and Gauteng Traffic Department, Crime Prevention Wardens, and Siyabangena patrollers conducted a joint operation on November 24.
The area targeted was Ekurhuleni District Zone 3.
The aim was to do stop-and-searches, and clamp down on illegal immigration and driving under the influence.
During the operation, they made one arrest for driving under the influence and issued various traffic fines.
They distributed 300 pamphlets on road safety and GBV to motorists and passengers in the operation.
