Burned body found in veld
Members of the community made the discovery and police were called to the scene.
On November 27, members of the John Dube community discovered a burned body in the veld next to the Chance Orphanage Home.
The body, which was severely burned, was found at around 18:00.
Police were called to the scene and a case of unnatural death was opened.
Ward 111 Clr Lizo Mabe was also present at the scene and expressed his dismay at the incident.
Mabe encouraged the community to assist the police with any information that could assist in tracing the deceased.
Police are also calling for anyone who may have information relating to the death of the person to contact the Duduza SAPS on 011 810 6093.
