Truck hits man, Ratanda SAPS investigating

The Ratanda SAPS is investigating a case of culpable homicide after a pedestrian was killed.

According to information, the Ratanda SAPS were notified on July 3 at about 21:50 of an accident on the R549, Vaaldam Road, next to Tokohong Phase, Ratanda.

A truck struck a 40-year-old man.

The truck driver stopped and called the SAPS.

All the relevant role players were at the scene of the accident, and the victim was declared dead.

The Ratanda SAPS is investigating.
