Ratanda SAPS detectives secure murder convictions in 2 cases
The were two successful convictions in Ratanda.
The Ratanda SAPS detectives’ dedication and investigative work culminated in two convictions for murder cases at the Heidelberg Regional Court.
The court sentenced Vusimuzi Ndaba (32) to 10 years imprisonment on November 28.
The murder occurred in December 2019 when Ndaba argued with the victim on Heidelberg Road, Ratanda, stabbing the victim in the chest.
The victim walked to the Ratanda SAP office, where he died. Ndaba was arrested a few hours later.
Detective Sergeant Wesley Claude Mogotsi worked around the clock to secure the conviction.

In the second conviction, Dlamini Nkosana (36) received eight years imprisonment on November 15 at the same court.
Dlamini was found guilty of stabbing his father to death after an argument at an address on Mkwanazi Street, Ext 7, in April 2022.
Detective Sergeant Cleopatra Hleziphi Nkosi worked tirelessly to secure the conviction.
Ratanda SAPS station commander Lieutenant Colonel Moleleki Isaac Ramothsabi applauded the hard work of his detectives to secure the convictions.
