A joint mass patrol conducted in Rensburg on April 24 resulted in three arrests, underscoring ongoing efforts to curb crime through coordinated action between community structures and law enforcement.
According to a preliminary success report, two individuals were arrested for possession of drugs, while a third suspect was taken into custody for drunk driving.
The operation was carried out through a collaborative effort involving the Rensburg Forum, Ratanda Anti-Crime Unit, and Heidelberg SAPS. The teams conducted high-visibility patrols across key areas, aiming to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
Officials emphasised the importance of continued cooperation between residents and law enforcement agencies, noting that joint patrols and increased visibility remain critical in addressing crime in Rensburg and surrounding communities.
