Local bodybuilder selected for IBFF Africa

Raymond Ntaopane (53), a local bodybuilder, will be competing in the Team Africa competition on September 16.

Bodybuilder Raymond Ntaopane (53) came third in the Welkom Classics Championships on August 26.

He competed in the masters over 50 category.

“God is good,” Ntaopane said.

“I did well in the Welkom Classics Championships and look forward to the next event.”

Ntaopane was selected to participate in the International Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (IBFF) All Africa Cup on September 16 at Gold Reef City.

Raymond Ntaopane will compete again on September 16.

“It is the biggest show of the year, and it is such an honour to be selected to compete,” Ntaopane said.
“It is a blessing and a privilege.”

Ntaopane will compete in two categories at the IBFF All-Africa Cup.

“I will be competing in the masters over 50 years category, along with either the Mr Physic category or the athletic category,” he said.

Raymond Ntaopane recently came third at the Welkom Classics Championships in his category.

“Either way, I am excited and feel truly blessed to have qualified to wear an African jersey for the first time.

“I am also thankful for the Heidelberg and Ratanda communities and for being able to represent our community in the world of sports.”
