Duduza SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre opens

The centre will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The community of Duduza received a boost in their efforts to fight GBV on December 1.

The boost came after the official opening and handover of the Duduza SAPS Victim Empowerment Centre.

“Sponsored by Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, the centre was handed to the partnership between the CPF, LifeLine and the SAPS to continue serving and empowering the community of Duduza,” said Sergeant Harry Manaka of the Duduza SAPS.

“The centre will be run by LifeLine Ikhaya Lokhuselo, with a social worker and volunteers trained in victim support.
