Devon SAPS raises GBV awareness
We must work together to create a safer community free of GBV.
The Devon SAPS conducted a 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign event at the Impumelelo Sports Grounds on December 7.
The Devon SAPS, Vispol, Sector 1, Social Crime Prevention, the communications co-ordinator, crime prevention wardens, GBV Brigades, Agape Lerato NGO and community patrollers were present.
During the drive, they asked the community to unite against GBV and work with the local SAPS.
Attendees received pamphlets with the contact details for support and counselling for the community to use as needed.
