Excellence awards at Life Suikerbosrand

Hard work leads to recognition and appreciation.

Life Suikerbosrand held its year-end Excellence Award ceremony on December 8.

Hospital manager Kubashnee Naidoo, in her welcome address, said, “This year has been a year where everyone worked extremely hard and each one can be proud of what we have achieved.

“This is the fifth year where we are privileged to present prestigious awards for a team that goes beyond the call of duty in more ways than one. It is clear we share the same values, being a support culture and appreciation and recognition in the hospital with patient care a priority.”

Dr Chileshe Mpehle said, “The staff of Life Suikerbosrand are responsible for making the hospital the success it is.

Achievements are hard work but worth the work in the end. We as doctors and nurses do what we are called to do, and that is to focus on the patients on a daily basis.”

The non-clinical department: admissions and reception

The clinical department: accident and emergency

The outsource department: Lancet Laboratories
