Entities inform community about crime trends

The community was warned not to buy stolen items.

The Devon SAPS, Social Crime Prevention and Communications co-ordinator Constable Yvone Skosana, GBV brigade members Thoko Malinga, Lindiwe Skosana, Modiehi Mosia and Prudence Skweyiya, CPF members and community patrollers conducted a door-to-door campaign on March 19 to alert community members to house burglaries and theft in the area.

The community members were also encouraged not to buy stolen items and warned they face arrest if the police find them with stolen items

In addition, the SAPS distributed pamphlets to sensitise the community.
