Nigel Clean-Up initiative on a ‘bin-tastic’ journey

“We are looking for anyone who can help us to make, install or maintain the bins,” Ilze said.

The Nigel Clean-Up initiative wants to turn Nigel into a sparkling wonderland with their ‘bin-tastic’ mission.

“We are on a quest for superheroes and helpers, armed with tools, skills, and a sprinkle of community magic,” said Ilze Willemse, coordinator of the Nigel Clean-Up group.

The community project already made an impact in the streets and surrounds of Nigel where they cut the long grass at the play park and cleaned up the sidewalks. In their quest to keep the town of Nigel clean, they are launching their ‘bin-tastic’ project.

The Nigel Clean-Up group is in need of 210l steel drums, boiler makers, welders and welding tools, steel and cement.

Nigel Clean-Up is a community initiative and depends on contributions from residents and local businesses to fulfil their clean-up mission. The bin project aims to place at least 15 park bins in strategic areas in the town to keep the town clean.

“We are looking for anyone who can help us to make, install or maintain the bins,” Ilze said.

They need 210l steel drums, boiler makers, welders and welding tools, steel and cement.
