Heidelberger is nominated for top award
Zara Muhammad wants to succeed in the workplace and the community.
Local businesswoman Zara Muhammad (45) is nominated in the Woman of Stature Awards’ entrepreneur of the year category.
Muhammad has lived in Heidelberg for three years and runs a business.
The Woman of Stature Awards marks its 10th season in SA in 2025. The event celebrates women’s resilience, leadership and impact, fostering inspiration and opportunity.
Muhammad is an entrepreneur and the CEO of Delta Tank Engineering in Heidelberg, a global leader as the first women-owned tank fabrication repair and refurbishment enterprise.
With a career spanning various industries, Muhammad has engaged in business ventures and freelance consulting internationally, with trade experience in China, Pakistan, India, Mauritius, Lesotho and several countries neighbouring SA.
She is known for her strength and determination in the community and workplace.
“I believe the time has come for people to be recognised on merit and for the value they bring to the table. This will help bridge gaps. My aim is for more women to step up to the plate and to get recognised for their contributions in Heidelberg,” said Muhammad.
The awards will be held at the Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre in Sandton on April 12.
