Fire brigade safely controls a house fire on Rissik Street

Lesedi Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at a residence on Rissik Street on May 12.

Initial reports indicated the area posed a potential danger because of gas bottles on the property.

Fortunately, they could remove the gas bottles, averting further risk.

Lesedi Fire and Safety extinguished the fire after refilling their water truck twice.

Lesedi Traffic, AfriForum Heidelberg, Silver Security, Crimestop, Lesedi Traffic and first responders were all on the scene to assist.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and is under investigation.
