Nigel Gymnastics Club’s junior season gets underway

The Nigel Gymnastics Club’s junior season is in full swing after its level one to three gymnasts participated in the season’s first competition.

They attended a friendly in Kempton Park on May 9 and 10 with over 600 gymnasts.

Nigel brought home eight gold, six silver and 16 bronze medals.

Four gymnasts won their level and age group divisions.

They are:

• Sinentokozo Mpulo – Level three (10 years old);

• Liezl Maritz – Level two (nine years old);

• Lume Mitchell – Level two (12 years old);

• Maddison Shelton – Level one (eight years old).

The gymnasts are now preparing for the district qualifier later this month.
