4 SAPS Nigel members promoted through grade progression
Four SAPS Nigel members have been promoted through the grade progression system during a ceremony held at the station, marking an important milestone in their policing careers and recognising their dedication and service.
Lieutenant Colonel Louise Droskie, the station commander of the Nigel SAPS, confirmed the grade progression promotions of four members during a recent ceremony at the station.
The confirmation included one constable and three sergeants who progressed to the rank of warrant officer.
The ceremony took place in the station foyer, where component heads expressed their pride, encouragement, and continued support before the newly promoted members received their new insignia.
The promoted members are Warrant Officers Tebogo Morifi, Carl van Blerk, and Vusimuzi Mahlambi, and Sergeant Yolandi Daschner.

Droskie congratulated the officers on their promotions, noting their good health and commendable service records.

She encouraged them to continue serving with pride, professionalism, and integrity, while reminding them that the new ranks come with increased responsibility and expectations.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the careers of the members and reaffirmed Nigel SAPS’ recognition of dedication and service excellence.
