Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport and Lesedi Local Municipality call Ratanda SMMEs to infrastructure briefing

Small businesses in Ratanda are encouraged to attend an information session on the RISFSA class 1 and 2 road project, where officials will outline timelines, introduce contractors, and explain subcontracting opportunities for local enterprises.

Small businesses in Ratanda are invited to attend an information session on the upcoming road infrastructure work under the RISFSA Class 1 and 2 projects.

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport, in partnership with Lesedi Local Municipality, will host a meeting to inform local SMMEs about opportunities linked to the project and to outline key development milestones.

The session is targeted at SMMEs based in Ratanda and surrounding areas, with a focus on empowering local enterprises to participate in infrastructure development within the municipality.

According to the organisers, the meeting will provide an overview of the project scope, introduce the appointed contractor and consulting engineers, and explain subcontracting procedures available to qualifying local businesses.

Officials say the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to promote inclusive economic participation and ensure that local enterprises benefit from this public infrastructure investment. The meeting will take place on February 20 at 10:00 in the new hall in Ratanda, next to the police station.

Local SMMEs are encouraged to attend and obtain first-hand information about participation requirements and project timelines.
