Emergency services responded to a serious collision between a light motor vehicle and a motorcycle on February 22, on the Jacobs Street bridge crossing the N3 in Heidelberg.

According to information at the scene, one person sustained serious injuries and received medical attention from paramedics.

Responding agencies included Heidelberg SAPS, GPG Medical Services, Heidelberg Volunteer Medics and First Responders, and Gauteng Traffic Wardens, who managed the scene and assisted the injured.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation.
