We are proud of the personal growth we witnessed, as well as of perseverance and respect for others. These values are just as important as the results on the scoreboard,” she said.

Zwane also passed a message of appreciation and gratitude to parents.

“We would like to thank parents and guardians for their continuous encouragement and support. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in the lives of these young athletes. We encourage parents to remain actively involved by motivating their children, ensuring they attend training sessions regularly, and celebrating their efforts. This achievement inspires us to continue nurturing young talent and building a strong sporting culture within our school and community,” she said.

Sithokomele Primary School finished second, while Ratanda Primary School placed third overall.

Other participating schools also demonstrated commendable effort and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
