No injuries reported after Heidelberg bridge collision

A collision involving two light motor vehicles on the Jacobs Street bridge in Heidelberg caused traffic delays on June 2, with motorists urged to use caution as clean-up operations continued.

Motorists experienced delays on June 2 following a collision involving two light motor vehicles on the Jacobs Street bridge in Heidelberg.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Jacobs Street and the off-ramp from the N3 South during the afternoon.

Traffic lights at the intersection remain out of order, creating additional challenges for motorists travelling through the area.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

However, clean-up operations were underway at the scene, resulting in temporary traffic disruptions. Authorities urged motorists to approach the area with caution and remain vigilant while emergency and recovery teams cleared the roadway.

Drivers were also encouraged to make use of alternative routes where possible to avoid congestion.
