The team lost the match against Voslo United on January 28.

Cambridge FC faced the Voslo United team on January 28 in Vosloorus.

Cambridge lost 3-2.

“We had a positive start to the match,” said Cambridge chairperson, Ignatius Maphike.

The first goal of the match was scored by Cambridge player, Oupa Junior Mbokazi, in the first 15 minutes of the game.

“The opposing team managed to score two goals during the first half, which put us on the back foot,” Maphike said.

The first half ended 2-1 for the Voslo United team.

During the second half, Cambrigde scored another goal. “In the final minutes of the game, both teams went pound for pound,” Maphike said.

“Poor finishing and lack in concentration from our boys saw Voslo clinching tge game. It’s sad to lose in this way, because the boys didn’t use the chances they had.

“We are not happy with the results because this is the second loss in a row.”
