Bashele greets teachers

“I love this place, for it has taught me a lot and I’m also thankful to my colleagues that supported me when I went through difficult times,”

The staff of Bashele Senior Primary School and the pupils bid farewell to four staff members of the school last Friday at Thuthukani Hall.

Ms N.R Nhleko and Ms M.T Ngomane have served the school with dedication, commitment and hard work according to fellow teachers, and that gained them respect at work over the years.

Ms Nhleko thanked the Almighty and the Department of Education for the opportunity to work with her colleagues through her 35 years of service.

“I’ve learned the true meaning of diversity during my time at the school and I’m proud of all the achievements to date,” said Ms Nhleko.

Ms Ngomane shed tears of joy as she addressed the crowd about her experience in Ermelo as a mother, wife and teacher.

“I love this place, for it has taught me a lot and I’m also thankful to my colleagues that supported me when I went through difficult times,” said Ms Ngomane.The school principal, Mr S.M. Maseko, said the departure of such committed individuals was a great loss to the school.

Mr D.R.K. Thwala and Mr S.S, Mnisi who are also leaving the school could not attend.
