Eskom would like to inform its customers in and around Ermelo and Breyten about the power outages planned to take place as follows:
Ermelo substation: Sunday, 18 January 2015 from 06.00 to 18.00. Areas to be affected: Ermelo town, Ermelo East and West rural and Estancia.
Breyten substation: Thursday, 29 January 2015 from 8.30 to 16.00. Areas to be affected: Breyten town, Kwa-Zanele township and Breyten rural.
The outages are necessary to in order to complete the upgrade project in both Ermelo and Breyten substations. The upgrade will strengthen the network for optimal performance.
Customers are advised to treat all electricity lines and wires as live during this period. We apologise for any inconvenience that may occur as a result of this exercise.
Eskom reserves the right to change the date of the outage, should the planned date be affected by conditions beyond our control.
