Revenue enhancement implimented

Gert Sibande District Municipality has launched revenue enhancement projects to assist Msukaligwa and Dipaliseng Local Municipalities clean their financial systems in order to deliver better service.

Local community members have been employed and trained to collect data using handheld IDL GPS units collecting electricity and water meter readings and a photo of the readings will also be taken.

In some instances the outside of the house will be taken to record the size including the top structure. The municipality has however warned under no circumstances should the data captures be allowed to take photos of the interior of the houses.
