Youth council elected
The committee consist of 50 percent women representation.
The South African Youth Council Regional Committee was recently elected at the Gert Sibande District Municipal Chambers.
In a press statement released by the newly elected committee, they thanked the office of Community Services in Gert Sibande District for laying the ground for the successful summit.
“The committee consist of 50 percent women representation which is an indication of our commitment to gender prioritisation,”said the statement.
The regional committee will convene a special summit to discuss policies and pave the way forward towards youth development in the region
