According to a nearby resident, sewage has been flooding the field for the past six weeks and numerous calls to the Msukaligwa Municipality to have not yielded any results.
“The sport field was regularly used by the community to host various sporting and recreational activities, but no activities can take place there now.
“The children, especially, now really have nowhere where they can play,” said the resident.
