Police have opened a case of attempted murder after an altercation between two taxi drivers at a local service station last Friday, 5 January.
According to witnesses, a minibus taxi bumped into another, damaging the side mirrors.
An argument broke out between the drivers, but the complainant drove off towards the Piet Retief Road.
According to his police statement, he was followed and heard gunshots, which he reported to the police.
