According to police, one suspect was apprehended in connection with stealing clothes and bedding sets worth R1 200.

Only one item of clothing was recovered.

He was taken to jail on 16 February.

In the other case, police said a HP 620 laptop, leather jacket, Z330 Nokia cell phone and athletic shoes were stolen, valued at R7 200.

The suspect appeared in the Mayflower Periodical Court on Monday, 19 February.

The case was postponed to 26 February for further investigation.
