Ermelo police released their crime statistics after the Easter weekend.

Sector 3 was more affected by burglaries and assault.

Sector 4 was affected by theft of motor vehicles, theft out of motor vehicles, malicious damage to property and theft in general.

Police ask the public to be vigilant and aware to avoid being victims of crime.
