A 26-year-old man was robbed on Friday, 18 May when he was hitchhiking from Hendrina to KwaMhlanga.
According to the police, the man accepted a lift near Ermelo at about 3pm.
“A man stepped out of the vehicle, pointed a firearm at the complainant and robbed him of cash, two cell phones and a laptop to the value of R39 000,” the police spokesman, Capt Carla Prinsloo, said.
Ermelo Police are investigating a case of robbery.
