Man sentenced for escaping custody and another for robbery in Lothair

Senzo Sfiso Nkosi (31) was sentenced to one year direct imprisonment for escaping custody and was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.

LOTHAIR – Two men were recently sentenced in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court for various crimes.

Nkosinathi Hlatshwayo (27) was sentenced to a five year suspended sentence for robbery after he committed a robbery at one of the villages in Lothair on 23 January.

According to Lothair Police, the suspect is alleged to have robbed a 30-year-old victim of his belongings.
