Man dies in horrific accident on N2

Paramedics found the vehicle had been ripped in two on the side of the road.

ERMELO – A man died when his vehicle crashed into two trucks on the Mkhondo road about 30km from town on August 14.

According to Ross Campbell, spokesperson for ER24, the paramedics arrived at the scene at about 06:00 and found the vehicle had been ripped in two on the side of the road.

The man’’s body was found in the driver’s seat.

“He showed no signs of life and was declared dead on the scene,” Campbell said.

The drivers of the two trucks were uninjured.

Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services, the police and Ermelo Provincial EMS were on the scene.
