UPDATE: Porsche and Golf Mk 1 involved in accident outside Ermelo

Occupants of the one vehicle were according to an unconfirmed report, allegedly admitted to Piet Retief Hospital while another occupant in the other vehicle, sadly burnt to death inside the vehicle.

Authorities have confirmed that the vehicles involved in the accident were a Porsche and Golf Mk1

It was further established that the two occupants of the Porsche were admitted to Ermelo Mediclinic with private transport.

Person burns to death after head-on collision outside Ermelo

Two vehicles were involved in an accident outside Ermelo about 52km on the Mkhondo (formerly Piet Retief) road earlier this afternoon.

According to authorities on the scene, the vehicles were involved in a head-on collision after which both vehicles caught on fire.

Occupants of the one vehicle were according to an unconfirmed report, allegedly admitted to Piet Retief Hospital while another occupant in the other vehicle, sadly burnt to death inside the vehicle.

Emergency services and other roleplayers are currently on the scene.

According to and EMS paramedic, the road towards Ermelo is currently closed, while traffic towards Piet Retief are using a gravel road next to the railway.
