Norcott shares her wealth and knowledge

Win a copy Cindy Norcott's debut book.

CINDY Norcott , the founder of the Robin Hood Foundation and owner of a local recruitment agency, has recently published a book, How to be unstoppable and achieve more in business and life.

According to the Hillcrest resident who has more than 20 years experience in the business industry, her debut book is primarily directed at entrepreneurs, but the practical and simple advice can be used by anyone who wants to reach their full potential.

“As a qualified business coach and motivational speaker I have received many requests to write a book. I have always wanted to write and was finally motivated to take the leap when by business approached its 20th birthday.Through the book I share the experiences and the lessons that I have learned over the years, and it provides practical tips that have been tried and tested,” said Norcott.

In addition to inspirational and motivation quotes, the book also contains questions that challenges the reader to reconsider their goals and actions, making success more attainable. Norcott also insists that the reader does not have to read the whole book to improve their life.

The chapters were written so that they can be read in isolation. “If a person feels that they struggle to manage stress and it is holding them back from reaching greatness they can focus on the stress management chapter,” said Norcott.

The motivational book also contains a chapter that encourages and implores readers to give back to the community.

“I want to teach people an ethical approach to entrepreneurship. I don’t simply want to teach people how to become rich and successful. I also want to teach them to share their success. Personally, I believe that my success would be very empty without being able to give back,” said Norcott.

The Robin Hood Foundation is a Durban-based NPO (started in 2005) that encourages businesses and individuals to share their resources with people from disadvantaged communities.
