Charlton Scholars
Charlton Scholars is a medium to long term Independent Remedial Primary School situated in the lovely suburb of Kloof.
We cater only for children who present with barriers to learning which include dyslexia, dyscalculia, Aspergers, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders and Apraxia.
Our small classes and experienced Remedial Teachers help to address these difficulties, together with our Occupational and Speech Therapists who assist with the remediation process.
We have a well rounded Curriculum to ensure that our learners keep up with the syllabus, as well as offer various outdoor programmess like Physical Education, Sport, Dancing, Judo and much more.
Our aim is to integrate our children back into the Main Stream school environment when they are ready and able to cope.
We strive to ensure that they become self reliant, have a good work ethic and give only of their best.
We have a good understanding that every child learns differently and therefore adapt to suit their style of learning.
