MORE than 25 artists displayed their beautiful works at the Macnut Farm in Hillcrest to raise funds for the 1000 Hills Community Helpers organisation.
“I have been to the centre and have seen first hand what the NPO does for the community. The group gives out 1200 meals daily and helps thousands of people. It does such amazing work in the valley and it is a local charity which is why they were chosen as the beneficiary for the day,” said Hannah Paine, owner of the Macnut Wedding Venue.
The art on show was a mix of wild animals, flowers, traditional Zulu life, tasteful nude portraits as well as mosaics and watercolour pieces. There was also delicious food and snacks for sale. A fun day was had by all.
