COWIES Hill Westville Women’s Institute will meet at the Cowies Hill Hall, Woodside Avenue, Cowies Hill on Thursday 12 September at 9am. Guest speaker, Peter MacCallum, will present a talk titled, Who am I? The meeting is open to all women in the area who would like to meet and make new friends, and especially if you are newly retired and looking for some stimulation. A small charge of R10 covers a delicious tea and eats as well as the cost of a good speaker.
DURBAN Flight Simulation Group will meet at the Westville Library function room F2, on Saturday 14 September between 8am and 1pm. Go along to see what flying a virtual aircraft is all about. A training programme for budding pilots is available and you can learn the basics of flying and experience actually sitting in the pilot’s seat.
